I am glad spring is finally here, although it looks like winter is going to hang around a bit longer as we have had a gloomy start to spring. I adore spring, as an environmental and conservation student and enthusiast I am really looking forward to the gorgeous native wildflowers which should be in full bloom soon! This season I didn’t actually feel like I needed anything for spring, so I just gathered up a pile of cute items I have been lusting over that I would be more than keen to have at the moment.
Although I didn’t need any spring specific items this season I did try to keep the items I chose to a light and airy spring feel. Mostly I went with fresh whites, greens and pinks. I hope you enjoy these cool and fresh finds for spring!
For spring 2016 I chose the following items for my wishlist;
Cactus Night Light from Kmart: I love this cute little, battery operated cacti night light! I love that it is a cactus, and I love that it is battery operated so that it can move from room to room. I need a dull little light that I can place in either my hallway or toilet, as I blind myself every time I wake up to use the bathroom, or let the dogs out during the night. I also wake before the sun on most mornings, so it would be nice to have a dull light to get up with before I’m ready to turn on the main lights! I know it may look like a silly little item, but I think it is really cute, and would be super useful to me.
Terra Vase from Kmart: Okay, how gorgeous is this vase?! I’m not really sure how practical it is, I’m not sure what I could put inside apart for a terrarium, but still, it would look good!
Cacti Print Cushion from Claire Tincey Designs: I follow this gorgeous Perth based small business on Instagram, and the other day they released this new print! How perfect is it? I’m not sure if I would prefer it as a print or as a cushion, but either way I think it’s gorgeous!
Petite Cactus Heart Pyjama Set from Topshop: Not sure why everything is cactus themed this spring, but I’m loving all these cute cacti prints! This pyjama set is so perfect for the warming weather, it is nice, light and airy, and the print is super adorable. I would adore to wear these pyjamas around the house this season!
The Original MakeUp Eraser from Sephora: I’ve been seeing the magic of these makeup erasers everywhere. No mess, no chemicals, no fuss, all you need to remove your makeup, including water proof products is this cloth and some warm water. I think it looks fantastic, especially for those lazy days you can’t be bothered doing your nightly skincare routine!
Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb from Lush: I don’t know if you guys have noticed yet, but I’m a self-proclaimed Lushie and I’m fully obsessed with Lush bath bombs at the moment! This is the next bath bomb I want to purchase, Lush claim that it is based off a medieval love potion and that it is studded with real rose buds! Sounds divine!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup from Mecca: Next trip to Mecca I am going to ask for a sample of this Naked Skin foundation in my shade, I am keen to get my hands on a medium-full coverage foundation that works well with my skin, for a glowy, natural airbrushed look. Basically I want a miracle product to turn me into a super model, but alas I haven’t found it yet, perhaps this will be it!?
Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream in Hon-O-Loo-Loo from Priceline: You should all know how much I’m loving my current tube of Velourlips in the shade Doo-Bai, I think it is a fantastic formula, but the shade is very strong. I would love to also grab a more neutral, nude, shade of Velourlips this spring!
Canon EOS 70D Camera from Canon: A girl can
drool dream right? I have been longingly looking for a new blogging camera for a while now, I would love to get something with a little more creative control, and also get one that will transfer well to vlogging (just in case). This has been mentioned by other bloggers and vloggers a few times now, I’m a big fan of canon, and I really think this might be the baby I want! Although, suggestions and thoughts would be more than welcome at this point!
Chai Keep Cup from Keep Cup: As a barista (I love saying that word, it’s kinda fun?) and an environmentalist I think reusable cups should be used everywhere, by everyone! Do we really need a disposable cup every time we get a coffee on the run? I absolutely love when my customers bring their own cups in for us to fill, not enough people do this and we really need to consider our environment now, think about the cup your drinking out of going into landfill once you’re done… it’s not a pleasant thought.
2Cellos – Celloverse Tour 2016: So something pretty exciting is happening, 2Cellos is actually coming to boring little Perth (I say “boring little” because most concerts just hit up over east if they come to Australia, and rarely make it to WA). I adore 2Cellos, their music is so inspiring, it always makes me smile and I can’t even comprehend how talented they must be! I would love to buy tickets and see them while they are here, I think it would be a fantastic performance! If you don’t know who they are I suggest you listen to their version of Thunderstruck, or perhaps Avicii’s Wake Me Up.
RRP: $92.00-$145.00 per person.
