{Fashion} January ’17 Thrifted Finds

Another month down and a fair few successful thrifting trips done! This month I didn’t buy as much as last month, purely because my local thrift store hasn’t had any more amazing sales in the new year, but that didn’t stop me still looking out for a bargain when I could!

At the start of the month my sister and I went thrifting, she was in need of a few new pieces as she is currently living out of a suitcase. At the Clarkson Vinnies she didn’t find anything, but I did! I bought this brand new Gypsed bikini top for $3, and this new paisley dress for $8, it still had its $70 price tag attached! I know paisley isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I love it!

I also grabbed this wire basket the same day from my favourite op shop, the Merriwa Thrift Store, for $3. I’ve already created a whole new study area (my sister is sleeping in my office) and this basket features on my new shelf!

From the Heathridge Vinnies I grabbed these items off the half price rack! Three tops for $2.50 each, the brand new Kimono was $3 and the dress from Dotti was only $4, I can’t wait to wear it out!

These items were not technically thrifted, but I purchased them second hand so I felt I could include them here. I bought these cute items off a local girl selling through a sale app called Carousell. I bought the peach top for $5 and the cute Kawaii hair bow for $2.

And lastly, from the Heathrige Vinnies again I bought this cute, vintage inspired, mini dress for $4 and a Kookai loose tank top with a transparent back for $3. Loving these purchases, but I’m yet to wear either of them!

What did you thrift this month?
Are you fond of thrifting?
Perhaps you already have a favourite store?

Thanks for stopping by.

Wow! This is inspiring me to step up my thrifting game! You founds some really, really cute clothes for such amazing prices. Respect, girl. Sheesh.
I never went thrifting much at home because I’m from a really small town that doesn’t have many good options. But I’m going to college in a city now, and I’ve been thrifting a few times. It’s extremely satisfying. I’ll have to try and go more!
Lovely post, and congrats on all your finds!

Oh you got so many great things, especially at Vinnies! 🙂 I really like that cute kimono, what a great find! 🙂 Before I was on my 6 month no shop challenge I’d always looked for kimonos in opshops but rarely managed to find them.

Hope you are having a lovely week 🙂

Kimonos aren’t a common occurrence are they Mica? But when you do manage to find them it’s a fantastic feeling, I still can’t believe this one was brand new and still had it’s original tags attached! Are you looking forward to your 6 month no shop challenge to be over?
