{Fashion} Blue Banksia Jewellery

I have another local, WA, handmade, small business in the spotlight! That was a mouthful, but you get the idea…

A few weeks ago, I found myself at the Ladybird Markets at Lakeside Joondalup for a third time! I love these markets because they are always changing, there are always new products to see, with some familiar faces around as well. One new stall that I noticed on this trip was Blue Banksia Jewellery.

I instantly fell in love with Blue Banksia’s concepts and designs. It was a difficult task to choose my favourite piece, in the end I couldn’t, so I got two! I chose a small round pendant, which was made of wood and a clear blue resin, I thought this short chain would make a fantastic addition to my daily jewellery, matching with the sapphires in my engagement ring and earrings.

The other necklace I selected was a long statement piece, with an opaque turquoise resin to match the wooden feature. I also would have loved to get one of Clare’s signature pieces, a Banksia cone pendant, but it wasn’t meant to be this day. Perhaps I’ll just have to get one later…

Although I love bargain hunting, and thrifting for pre-loved clothes, there is no denying that there is something special about buying a quality, handmade piece to add to your wardrobe! If you’re after something a little different to spice up your style then I highly recommend Blue Banksia Jewellery.
