{Fashion} April ’17 Thrifted Finds

I was oh so restrained this month, not buying anything from thrift stores. The only hauls I have included in this post are from a recycling centre I stopped in on the way home from work one afternoon, and two swap marts Kody and I visited one fine Sunday morning this April. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchases from April.

Towards the beginning of April, I stopped into a recycling centre on the way home from work, I spent $7 and bought a nice big print in frame (I only wanted the frame), a second, smaller frame, and three more wooden utensils to add to my growing collection. Hopefully you will see more on all of these items soon, I have great plans in the works for everything here!

One Sunday morning Kody treated me to not one, but two local swap marts! At the first swap mart I purchased two tank tops for $1 each, four brand new hair clips for 50cents each, a cute straw clutch for $1, a wooden tree jewellery stand for $2, the #Girlboss novel for $2 and a brand new (sealed) tube of Alpha Keri Body SlimFit Cellulite Reductor, which recently featured on my favourites, for $7. Not a bad haul at all!

At the second swap mart of the morning I picked up a red, decorative plate for 20cents, a pair of cute Peter Alexander pyjama shorts for $1 as well as a pair of Windsor Smith boots, Wittner heels and Melissa flats all for $1 a pair! How good is that!?! And lastly, I decided to pick up a tube of nice, local, West Aussie honey for $6!

Did you go to any swap marts this April?
What were your favourite secondhand buys?
Do you have a favourite swap mart to visit?

Thanks for stopping by.

Ahh such good finds! I especially like the shoes in the last photo. Thrift stores are always so hard to resist because everything’s so affordable.
I found a free people sweater in my local thrift store a few days ago that would have been over a hundred dollars if I’d bought it in the real store! So satisfying. 🙂

I need to go to whatever thrift shop you’re searching in! Sometimes I go and it’s like jackpot, but it’s seriously been a long time since that’s happened! Great finds!

Thanks Kayla, it’s all about finding some stores you love and keeping up with the search, there are still times I go home empty handed!

Oh I’ll need to see if we have anything like that in BRisbane, you got some very cute things! I like the printed tanks but I think my favourite items you got are those cute studded heels !I used to have a very similar pair that I wore until they quite literally fell apart and I was very sad to see them go, never found a similar replacement since sadly.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend 🙂

I’m sure you do Mica, definitely have a search, it’ll totally be worth it! It’s so sad when you have a favourite item that can’t be replaced! Once I bought a pair of boots in a stores closing down sale because I already owned them and absolutely loved them to pieces! Haha! Xx
