I took a sneaky trip into Priceline last week for their 40% off cosmetics sale last week!
I aimed to be restrained, but I still ended up spending more than I originally planned… funny how that always happens!
There are definitely pros and cons to these sales. The biggest pro is the amazing savings you can get on all your favourite drug store brands; however, it isn’t without fault. I had to tackle a full and cramped isle to get my items, fighting through mums with prams, kids running past the makeup and elderly ladies pushing their shopping trolleys straight down the centre of the isle. It wasn’t a fun experience.
I suppose I could have always made my purchases online, but I really wanted to be able to hold them in my hands the same day I bought them.
I bought three items in total, one repurchase necessity, one item which has been on my wishlist for a long time, and one impulse buy.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – Vanilla | $
When I heard that Priceline were having another 40% off cosmetics sale the entire reason I went was to repurchase another of these amazing foundations. I discovered this on a whim at the last Priceline sale and instantly fell in love with it. It turned into my hands down favourite foundation to date, my holy grail, and I needed more!
Maybelline The Rock Nudes Palette | $
So far, I have collected each of the Maybelline The Nudes Palettes, original and blushed nudes. I knew from the first time I saw its release on Instagram that I also wanted The Rock Nudes. I hadn’t actually seen it in stores until this trip into Priceline. I snapped it up whilst on sale!
NYX Butter Gloss Set #09 | $
I saw a huge barrel of these NYX lippies whilst in Priceline. I’m yet to try any NYX lip products, so I thought at $11 for a three pack I could hardly go wrong. I already love the shades I picked out and I can’t wait to see how the formula works out. This pack contained; BLG08 Apple Strudel, BLG24 Cranberry Biscotti and BLG15 Angel Food Cake.
My haul would have been larger if Essence was also on sale at my local Priceline, however, despite the brand being on sale online I was told that they were excluded from this cosmetics sale. Very disappointing!
Did you buy anything at this Priceline sale?
Were Essence products on sale in your local store?
Have you tried any of these products already?
Thanks for stopping by.
