Technically I think this is actually the third gifted beauty haul, not the second, as you can read about the first one here, and the second one here, but we won’t worry about that too much… we will just dive straight into the makeup!
Kody’s mum yet again went through her makeup collection with a strong conviction to de-clutter. Everything that she no longer required she passed on to me to use, and I am incredibly grateful for it all!
She included the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel, a bronzing makeup base, in this haul, as well as one of my favourites, this Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Sandglow. I was also lucky enough to receive four new beautiful shades of lipstick. The Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream in Doo Bai, which I do already have, and I know I love! The Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Mambo was also thrown in, it’s a gorgeous pink hued nude shade which I can’t wait to trial. There was also a Rimmel lipstick from their Lasting Finish by Kate range in the shade #03 Rossetto, another nude, which is a slightly deeper colour than the Australis Mambo shade. Lastly there was an Hourglass Liquid Lipstick sample in the shade Icon, a gorgeous deep red.
A Dior compact was also gifted to me, the DiorSkin Nude, a natural glow sculpting powder makeup with 10 SPF in the shade #050 Cafe Moka. Another lip product that was included was the Face of Australia Lip Quench with SPF30+ in another nude shade, Nude Satin. I’m very keen to try this as it is designed to be such a moisturising lipstick with shea butter and jojoba oil, as well as being a sun protectant! An eye product that I received was this Rimmel Scandeleyes Eye Shadow Stick in the shade #003 Bad Girl Bronze, so far, I’m really loving the deep colour and creamy formula of this product. Two little sample tubes which were included were the Jane Iredale Dream Tint SPF 15 tinted moisturiser and the Josie Maran Whipped Mud Mask in Vanilla Apricot, which sounds like an absolutely fabulous combo!
Again, from Josie Maran, a full-sized product, her Whipped Argan Oil Ultra-Hydrating Body Butter, which I am completely stoked to try, I can’t wait to let you all know how it holds up! I also got The Balm’s Down Boy Blush and three more lip products, a gloss, Baume De Rose Nutri-Couleur #3 from By Terry, and two Revlon Colourburst Lip Butters in the shades Pink Lemonade and Juicy Papya, which both look so pretty and creamy!
I received a bottle of Eau De Parfum, By Invitation, which has quite a warm, yet floral, scent. From Sunday Riley I received the Luna Sleeping Night Oil which is meant to reduce pore size, improve appearance of damaged skin and help to fight wrinkles, I think I’m going to start using this straight away! A made-to-measure self-tan which you mix with moisturiser was also included in all the goodies I got, this product, Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster, looks so intriguing. The All Over Glow Face and Body Shimmer Powder in the shade #01 Light from Natasha Denona was also included, and this product has also made my favourites list due to its subtle shimmer. Lastly for this section I also received a wooden handled Everyday Minerals brush.
The holy grails, May Linstrom’s The Problem Solver and The Clean Dirt samples were included in their adorable apothecary jars, I honestly can’t wait to test these out, I’m definitely keen to let you all know how they go! A Make Up For Ever compact was also included, the gorgeous Mat Bronze Bronzing Powder in shade number 4, along with a Colour Design Lipstick in a sheen shade, Vintage Rose, a gorgeous dusty pink colour. Three eye brushes were also passed onto me, the Le Metier De Beaute Eye Crease Brush, the Becca Blending Brush and the MAC #286, all of which are of course excellent quality brushes which will definitely be valued additions to my collection!
Another lovely skincare product included in this haul was this tube of Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% Multifunctional Brightening Formula from the brand, The Ordinary. From Everyday Minerals I also received a powder roll on, Pearl Eyes, in the shade Sea Horse, which I believe is an eye finishing powder… From Burberry I got a Sheer Eye Shadow in shade No. 23, Dark Stable, a very dark brown shade. Another brown eye product was this Becca Eye Tint, a Water-Resistant Colour for the eyes, also from Becca I received this Lowlight Sculpting Perfector.
Kody’s mum also included the delicously scented Jennifer Aniston set which contained a full-sized bottle of her perfume along with tubes of her body lotion and shower gel, the scent for these is honestly divine! I also received another The Balm blush, this time in the shade, Frat Boy, and two adorable little brushes!
Again, on the skincare route I received a full-sized tub of the glorious Chantecaille Jasmine and Lily Healing mask. I recently finished a sample of this mask, in my April empties post I discussed how much I enjoyed the mask, yet how I wouldn’t be able to repurchase it as it was too expensive for my student budget. Voila! So incredibly happy that this product was included, now I can’t wait to plan a luxurious pamper night for myself! From This Works, a brand I already love for other products they produce, I received a bottle of the Clean Skin Gentle Cleanser which has a gorgeous blend of rosehip oil, frankincense and eucalyptus. On the cosmetic side of this haul I received an Eyeko Me and My Shadow Waterproof Shadow Liner in the gorgeous shade Taupe, as well as four NARS eyeshadows in the shades; Abyssinia (champagne), Bali (deep brown), Blondie (light brown) and Lola Lola (bronze).
Moving onto all the samples I collected from this haul, I received; the Dermalogica Precleanse, Dermalogica Breakout Control, and Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant. A Bobbi Brown sample, the SPF 15 Tinted Moisturiser Oil Free, was also included. Along with the Kate Somerville CytoCell Dark Circle Corrective Eye Cream and the Kate Somerville Quench Oil Free Hydrating Face Serum.
From By Terry I received the Cellularose Rose Native Cells Liftessence Global Serum, Daily Cream and Eye Contour. From Tata Harper I received their Concentrated Brightening Serum, whilst from Barr-Co I received their Shea Butter Hand and Body Lotion. I had five samples from Hourglass, three of which were the Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying in the shade Light Beige, the Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint in the shade Ivory and the Veil Mineral Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 15. Lastly for this section four samples from Aesop were also included; their Oil Free Facial Hydrating Serum, their Geranium Leaf Body Balm, which I have heard good things about, a packet of their Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream and a packet of their Primrose Facial Hydrating Cream.
Lastly for this haul I received a sample of the Chantecaille Flower Harmonizing Cream, along with the Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream and a sample of the By Terry Perfecting Fluid Foundation Sheer Flawless Correction in Natural Radiance. The other two Hourglass samples were; Ambient Light Correcting Primer in the shade Mood Light and another sample of Veil, the Mineral Primer. Lastly, I received two samples from La Roche-Posay; a Very High Protection, 50+ SPF Ultra Light Anthelios XL Fluid for Sun Intolerance, as well as their Sensitive Eye Contour, Toleriane Ultra, for anti-discomfort and anti-puffiness care.
