I bought these two items by Bourjois back in November at the Priceline 40% Off Cosmetics Sale. Even though these products did feature in my November Favourites post, and I briefly spoke about the brand in my Christmas Wishlist and in my What Santa Brought for Christmas post I thought I would still like to update you all with my first impressions on the Bourjois range!
From the Bourjois brand I first bought two items at Priceline (I have since added to this collection), the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in Vanilla and the Bourjois Blush a Brun Cuivre.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – Vanilla | $32.00
As you all probably know (I have spoken about it every opportunity I had) I have been on a quest to find my holy grail liquid foundation. Well, thanks to Bourjois the search is now over. The only other foundation I have found to be comparable to this is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream, however Bourjois is literally half the price. I would say that it is a medium coverage foundation, it has a higher coverage than the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, however, it doesn’t fully cover all blemishes, so it’s definitely not a high coverage product. This foundation has never looked cakey, dry or powdery on me, it also doesn’t look oily, and it just adds a subtle dewiness to your skin. The vanilla shade is an absolute perfect match up to my skin, and it blends in like a dream.
Bourjois Blush – Brun Cuivre | $20.00
Another absolute stellar of a product was the Bourjois Blush. I bought the shade Brun Cuivre as it was unlike any shade of blush already in my collection, and I am so happy that I tried something new. This shade just compliments my skin perfectly, giving me colour, but no rosy cheeks, for a more natural look. This blush is also rose scented which just adds that bit of luxury to your daily makeup application.
All in all I am so completely impressed with these products and the rest of the Bourjois range, I have already gotten a few more items to add to my Bourjois collection!
