{Beauty} Artdeco Lipstick

I’ve found a new brand of lipsticks and I’m absolutely in love with them! I was lucky enough to win them in an Instagram competition, and I’m so glad I did, as I might never have heard about this brand otherwise. So, let’s get right into what I think of my new Artdeco lipsticks…

ARTDECO is a German makeup company whom recently celebrated their 30th anniversary, although, they have only been available to us Australians since 2014, through their online webstore!

I was gifted these products through an Instagram competition, and I’m so glad I came across them, because I am really enjoying them! I was given two shades, a dusky rose, 34C, and a sandstone nude, 37C. The two staples of any woman’s collection!

This brand really portrays their quality through their products, the lipstick tubes are a sleek black metal, which feels cool, weighted and smooth in your hands. The metal shells are specifically designed to help protect the products within from melting in the heat.  The product also smells fantastic, with a subtle vanilla scent. The lipstick itself is incredibly creamy with an even coverage, it has a fantastic pigmentation payoff, and has considerable longevity too. I happily wear this to work, and find it can last up to five hours or so. The creamy texture of this lipstick makes it comfortable to wear, and the addition of vitamin E to the formula ensures that it is hydrating. I’m really enjoying this brand and I’m finding these lipsticks to be comparable with my MAC bullets, however, they retail at $23, rather than MAC’s price of $36 per bullet.

Those are really pretty colors! I’ll have to see if they’re available for the U.S. And the packaging is awesome.
